Hi my name is Kaitlyn Grant. Before I came to Bloomsburg I lived in Bucks County Pennsylvania. At Bloomsburg I want to major in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am a very dedicated student and I enjoy being in class and learning. I am not the most creative person however so that sometimes is a problem in classes. Anything interactive and visual definately helps me to learn. Right now I'm most interested in traveling and seeing the world. I spent five weeks volunteering in the Dominican Republic this summer and it really inspired me to see more of the world. I am also really into sports. I absolutely love lacrosse and have played for 10 years. I enjoy kayaking and one of my dreams is to some day go sky diving! My favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption and some of my favorite musical artists are Michael Buble, Maroon 5, Colbie Caillet, Billy Joel, etc.

When it comes to technology I am most comfortable with: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, email, cellphone, text messaging, taking cellphone pictures, and social networking.

My favorite teachers were definately the ones that really seemed to love their jobs. I like teachers who are exciting to listen to and who are very passionate about what they are teaching. I didn't like teachers who couldn't relate to the students, and the ones where the class was only lectures. In this class I am a little worried about being as creative as I can but I am excited to push myself out of my comfort zone. If there is one thing you should know about me as a student it is that I will work really hard and always think that I can do better. If there is one thing you should know about me in general is that I am a very bubbly person. I have a hard time sitting still for too long and I like to constantly have stimulating conversations or activites to keep me busy!
